AEON provides Bitget Wallet with native Web3 mobile payment functions, making Bitget Wallet the first self-hosted wallet that natively supports Vietnam's national QR payment system (VietQR). This integration allows users to use cryptocurrencies to complete payments directly by scanning codes in the wallet. This function has covered more than 20 million local merchants in Southeast Asia and global brand stores such as McDonald's, Starbucks, and Uniqlo. In the future, the two parties will further expand to local payment channels such as the Philippines QR Ph and Nigerian bank transfers.
