最新报道:Decentralized cloud computing provider io.net and its IO token have partnered with Walrus to offer a “Bring Your Own Model” (BYOM) service for AI developers. The service allows startups to train, run, and store custom AI models on a pay-per-use basis using a global network of over 10,000 GPUs and CPUs. Walrus offers decentralized storage that improves privacy and composability over traditional centralized cloud services. The partnership aims to support the development of AI and machine learning without the drawbacks of centralized models, in response to recent major cloud outages. Walrus’ mainnet went live in March this year, has raised $140 million, and currently offers 4,167 TB of storage capacity. The partnership is expected to boost adoption among AI developers, especially those outside the crypto space, as global AI computing demand is expected to require trillions of dollars in investment by 2030.
