币界网报道:The Ethereum ecosystem is promoting the formulation of the ERC-7786 standard, aiming to establish a unified cross-chain communication interface specification. The standard is led by OpenZeppelin and supported by the Ethereum Foundation and Axelar. It defines four basic elements such as senders and receivers, and supports the adaptation of mainstream cross-chain protocols such as Axelar and LayerZero. ERC-7786 will solve the current L2 liquidity fragmentation problem, allowing DApps to achieve secure cross-chain communication through a unified gateway, and plans to add a "Gas sponsorship" extension to optimize the interactive experience. Interop Labs and OpenZeppelin have launched OpenBridge, an open source framework based on this standard. This standard will not only simplify developers' multi-chain deployment, but also blur the boundaries between chains, pushing the Ethereum ecosystem from fragmentation to a new stage of unified interoperability.
