In a letter to Christopher Skinner, Inspector General of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Gemini accused the relevant litigation lawyers of wanting to advance their careers and filing a lawsuit against the company based on a suspicious whistleblower report. It was entirely out of self-interest and wanted to obtain a high-profile "victory" against Gemini Trust by abusing their power to promote their own careers.
