Israel relaxes hostage trade conditions, opening door to temporary ceasefire
-
最新报道：According to the news from Bijie.com, according to Jinshi, citing Israeli media Mako Bijie.com, Israel submitted a revised proposal in the hostage negotiations with Hamas, suggesting that it might open the door to a temporary ceasefire. The new proposal is: Hamas releases 8 Israeli hostages on the first day of the ceasefire, and releases another 2 hostages after 20-30 days of ceasefire (previously, 10 hostages were released on the first day of the ceasefire, and all hostages were released after 60 days of ceasefire). Hamas had previously refused to implement the second phase of hostage releases after the 60-day ceasefire, fearing that Israel might resume operations in the middle stage. Israel's new proposal aims to address this concern, although it is not clear whether it is enough to restart formal negotiations. So far, no Israeli delegation has been sent to Cairo or Doha, indicating that the agreement is still in the preliminary draft stage. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu confirmed in an interview with Fox News on Sunday that "some progress has been made" and said that "the extension of the war is because of the hostages. I am committed to rescuing them all."
