币界网报道:On June 12, BlockBeats, a blockchain information platform, reported that AB Kuai.Dong (@_FORAB), a well-known opinion leader in the crypto field, analyzed the large-scale account ban incident of crypto users by Platform X that morning. AB Kuai.Dong pointed out that the most likely reason for this wave of bans was the platform's crackdown on crawlers that bypassed the official Twitter API. According to previous official pricing, it costs more than $200,000 for a corporate account to obtain 200 million tweets per month, and platforms such as gmgn, ai16z and eliza may process about 1 billion requests per month. Some companies use third-party crawlers to save costs, and are therefore collectively banned. At the same time, bloggers who frequently mention gmgn and ai16z may also be misjudged as related matrix accounts. This incident also explains why many Web3 task platforms have difficulty maintaining operations, because API fees gradually exceed platform revenues, and after users complete Twitter tasks, the platform needs to pay the corresponding data request fees.
