最新报道:On June 11, Taiko, the first rollup-based solution to scale Ethereum, has launched preconfirmations on its Hekla testnet, an important step on the road to ensuring the speed and decentralization of Ethereum scaling. The feature enables transactions to be “softly confirmed” in seconds by permissioned preconfirmation nodes. This allows users to interact with applications on Taiko with confidence that their transactions will be included (even if full L1 finality has not yet been achieved). The result is a more responsive and smoother user experience for users without sacrificing decentralization or trustlessness. This launch on the Hekla testnet is the result of close collaboration with multiple core infrastructure partners, including Nethermind, Chainbound, and Gattaca. They will also launch this feature on Taiko’s Alethia mainnet, marking an important milestone that also validates their hard work and ensures a smooth transition from the Hekla testnet to the preconfirmation feature on the mainnet. “This is a critical development,” said Ben Wan, Chief Community Officer at Taiko. “Preconfirmations are one step closer to achieving a user experience comparable to centralized systems, while maintaining trusted neutrality and censorship resistance. Ethereum users deserve both.” The first phase of its rollout uses a permissionlist approach to ensure smooth testing and participation. The team is targeting 2 second block times, with an eye on further reductions in the future as data availability and proof technology advances. The successful integration on the Hekla testnet also provides a strong validation platform for the upcoming Taiko Alethia mainnet, where it will be a core feature. This is a glimpse into the future of scaling Ethereum: fast, secure, and truly foundational. We invite developers and users to experience preconfirmations now on the Hekla testnet and shape the future of Ethereum rollups together.
