Buffett donates $6 billion worth of Berkshire B shares to five foundations

币界网报道：Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A.N, BRK.B.N) announced on June 27 local time that Buffett converted 8,239 Class A shares into 12,358,500 Class B shares on the same day in order to donate 12,358,321 Class B shares of Berkshire Hathaway to five foundations: 9,433,839 shares to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation; 943,384 shares to the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation; and 660,366 shares to the Sherwood Foundation, the Howard G. Buffett Foundation, and the Novo Foundation. The donation will be received on June 30. Buffett currently holds 198,117 Class A shares and 1,144 Class B shares of Berkshire.
