币界网报道:Investment firm IDX Advisors has filed for a hybrid Bitcoin and gold exchange-traded fund (ETF) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The proposed "IDX Bitcoin Plus Gold Strategy ETF" would provide 1.25x leveraged exposure to a combination of Bitcoin futures contracts and physical gold holdings. According to the filing, the fund aims to offer investors a diversified approach by combining the inflation-hedging properties of gold with the growth potential of Bitcoin. The ETF would primarily invest in cash-settled Bitcoin futures contracts traded on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) alongside direct holdings of physical gold or gold-related instruments. This marks one of the first attempts to create a leveraged product combining these two alternative assets. The SEC has not yet indicated when it might review or approve the application, coming amid heightened regulatory scrutiny of crypto-related investment products.
