币界网报道:Janus Henderson, a global asset management firm with $308 billion in assets under management, has launched a new tokenized fund on the Ethereum blockchain through its Digital Assets division. The Janus Henderson Short Duration Income ETF (NEAR) is now available as a tokenized version, allowing investors to trade it as an ERC-20 token. This move marks the firm's entry into the digital asset space, aiming to provide institutional-grade investment products with blockchain efficiency. The tokenized fund is designed to offer short-duration fixed income exposure while leveraging blockchain's benefits like faster settlement and increased transparency. Janus Henderson's Digital Assets head emphasized that this initiative aligns with growing institutional demand for regulated, tokenized traditional assets. The firm plans to expand its tokenized offerings, exploring additional funds and asset classes in the future. This development comes as traditional finance increasingly embraces blockchain technology for asset tokenization, with several major financial institutions launching similar products in recent months.
